Without a doubt, my least favorite thing about being a cyclist - I'm always hungry. Not just hungry - ravenous. And not the civilized ravenous. The kind where I envy the badgers who get caught in traps and get to chew through their own legs in order to escape. Mm-hm - there's a lot of meat on these legs, just going to waste. Give me just half a reason.
What's your least favorite thing about being a cyclist? Leave a comment if you're so inclined.
Here's the rest:
- I'm a gracious rival, not afraid to throw a link to a rival publication. Especially when that pub gives a shout-out to local Junior rising star and GamJams Ambassador Tyler Karnes, a member of the Hincapie-Barkley Development Team mentioned in CyclingNews.com.
- In the same vein, the HPC/Altarum women get a little ink love from VeloNews today.
- The Granfalloon has more from the Bahamas - this time a report on the road race, and some unflattering commentary on Jonathan Vaughters' driving skills. He also points to these photos on the HubRacing site.
- Cyclochris has the deets on Norfolk's third alleycat
race,er, scavenger hunt.
least favorite thing... snot. Oceans and oceans of snot.

People staring at my shaved legs when they are talking to me.
People having no idea how hard and complicated racing is.
The fact that so many good races occur in the late winter, spring, and early summer, which forces us to do the bulk of our training in the frozen dark.
Should I go on?
