Keeping Tempo: 3-21-08
G'morning, racers. May you greet the day with pleasantly heavy legs and eagerness to log some serious weekend miles.
- Anna Kelso reminds us that it's not just racing season, it's Saddle Sore Season. She's got tips for avoiding and treating here.
- Flamenco Chuckwagon has the rather unique skill of attaching cycling metaphors to the economic landscape: "Certainly the dollar will go to new lows. Inflation? It's gotta take off like Petacchi on a full inhaler of Salbutamol, right?"
- Kyle at Pedal'n Around has a video of the UMD Cat 4 finish, which was won handily by RayMan.
- T. Karnes of The Blog of Tyler wraps up with, "Nothing much else to report." Um, except that your team is featured in the friggin New York Times.
- Looks like a little Racing Union is rubbing off on On Cycling.
- Shh... Alley Cat... Norfolk... Saturday. Keep it quiet.
- And finally, if this doesn't give you group ride envy, well then you must also have a pretty rockin' group ride.
Milan San Remo predictions? Leave 'em in the comments. Winner gets a GamJams bidon .

I'll take Alessandro Ballan for $1200, please, Alex.

Oscar Freire for the win, Milan San-Remo, just like last year. It's great to see that beast back...he's a monster.

Filippo Pozzato - Word on the street is that they won't let the sprinters to just "sit in" for nearly 300km race then take it over in the last km. Look for alot of aggressive attacks on the climbs to hurt the sprinters.

I'm gonna have to say Cancellara on this one... Gilbert making a late race move not to succeed...
