c. Michael Ball's Lambroghini
d. The Unholy Rouleur
e. All of the above
The GamJams Leadout of the Week is given this week to The Unholy Rouleur, for his simple but essential post of the Olympic Cycling Coverage on TV. If you tried to figure out for yourself when to watch, you'll see why his entry is an award winner. There's no easy way to decipher the listings. If you're like me, you're watching all the time anyway. But with about 5 different NBC channels offering coverage, knowing which one to turn to when saves a lot of remote control toggling and doesn't eat up the hard drive space on my DVR that I'll need to record the Nature Valley Grand Prix on VS this weekend.
Bobby Lea's first race, by the way, is the 16th (Saturday). So your best bet for seeing that looks like USA Network from 10:30am - 2:00pm on Saturday, and/or NBC the same day from Noon - 1pm.

Leadout of the Week is awarded to racers who have used their websites to promote something other than themselves. If you'd like to nominate your own or someone else's site, please do. If you're a winner, you're encouraged to proudly display your GJ Ribbon on the winning entry or anywhere else you'd like.
Can I nominate You for leadout of the week? I had no idea that Nature Valley Grand Prix was ever going on t.v. The DVR is now set. Always fun to watch a race that you participated in, even if they only show the men. Still the same courses and I can still remember the suffering so vividly it will make it that much more entertaining. Hopefully they'll at least give a few highlights of Kristen Armstong tearing it up, now that she has won gold in Beijing.
Thanks for the leadout!

Thanks Lorena, but no, you can't. That would be like the Emmy Awards receiving an Emmy Award for their production of the Emmy Awards.
I expect they unearthed the footage precisely because Kristen Armstrong won gold. If Bobby and Meatball medal in the Madison, don't be surprised if they suddenly schedule coverage of a 6-day in Italy from July.

BTW, those listings have to be taken with a grain of salt. Don't forget - NBC is the network that bagged the last couple minutes of a key NFL game in order to run "Heidi" - the movie, not the C3 racer - and they haven't progressed much from those days. The Friday USA listing, for instance, advertised cycling but only featured lots of women's hoop, and just about zero track - though highlights of the British team sprint team's cooldown were shown in luxurious, full color super-slo-mo on NBC Main. A frustrating experience akin to riding a stairstep hill with many false summits...
