New Featured Photo: ABRT Packs Suitcase of Hurt, Travels to Chris Thater
ABRT / Latitude's Chip Hoover sent in this week's Featured Photo, chronicling his team's successful road trip to Binghamton to deliver a package of Mid-Atlantic hurt to upstate NY's NRC set. In fact, in the most recent economic census data, it was reported that the Mid-Atlantic region is the nation's top exporter of hurt, sending out large packages north to places like Binghamton and Fitchburg, south to the Carolinas and Georgia, and west to Arizona, New Mexico and British Columbia.
It's no surprise then that the ABRT boys had a successful outing up I-81. The crew of 5 they sent up managed 6 top ten finishes across 4 races. The photo above is of Nat Thompson (front) and Chip Hoover (other ABRT guy coiled like a snake waiting to strike) in a 5-man break that lapped the field in the Cat 2/3 race. Chip finished 2nd and Nat secured the podium's third step. Chip went on to finish 4th in the 30+ event, followed home by Keith Reeder in 5th. Keith then landed a 10th in the 40+ race. Chris also asked me to give shoutouts to super domestiques Lance Lacy and Chris Harshman, which I'm happy to do, and not only because "Lance Lacy pics sexy bicycle" is likely to get me a lot of Google traffic.
More pics and reports from the trip are at the Unofficial ABRT Cycling Blog.
If you have a shot that you'd like to see as a Featured Photo on GamJams.net, send it in. I try to update on Mondays or Tuesdays with a photo from the previous weekend, so push a few my way as soon as you wipe down your bike and/or your tripod. And no, you don't need to be a pro or even need to take professional pictures. Whatever shows it like it was works great here.
So have at it.
Submit your Featured Photo here.
HAHA thanks your to kind.
