There are lots of reasons why people - bike racers as well as normal people - might want to have kids. But we bike racers have an added incentive: because we live and race vicariously through them, a kid doubles our chances for glory on any race day.
Not that Chris Nystrom needs the extra glory, of course. But he's got it anyway. That's his son Thor, rocking some serious form on the barriers at the Lil' Belgians race at Charm City. I try to update on Mondays or Tuesdays with a photo from the previous weekend, so push a few my way as soon as you wipe down your bike and/or your tripod. And no, you don't need to be a pro or even need to take professional pictures. Whatever shows it like it was works great here.
