Michael Myers (Team Nature's Path / 3Sports) held his lead in the inaugural Les Forcats de la Route series to secure the Road Boss trophy. Ahead by just 8 points after the Giro di Coppi, Myers needed 8th place or better at Page Valley to guarantee his win. But with the rest of the top 10 within 15 points of Myers, a bad day at Page Valley would leave the door wide open. Myers delivered the goods, finishing 5th. Squadra Coppi / IM Saab's Thomas Blonkowski surged from 5th to 2nd with his win at Page Valley. Eric Bruins (NCVC) slid to third in the overall competition.

With 3 top-10 finishes in the points-heavy Cat 4 and Cat 3 fields at Page Valley (Forcats points are awarded based on finising place and field size), NCVC extended their already comfortable lead in the Chain Gang competition, rolling away from Squadra Coppi / IM Saab and The Bike Rack Cycling Team, who finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
If there were a "fast finisher" award for the Chain Gang, it would certainly go to Team Nature's Path / 3Sports. With Road Boss Myers the only TNP racer scoring points in the first two events, the team sat in a humble 14th place entering Page Valley. But TNP turned out in force at Page Valley, the only one of the three Forcats events on the VACA calendar as well as MABRA. Five TNP racers put up a total of 349 points at Page Valley, the highest single-race total by any team at any Forcats event. TNP vaulted from 14th to 4th in the overall standings.
