We've all seen the pictures. A team's sprinter (or breakaway artist, whatever) scores the win, while his teammates are a few meters back, sitting up, celebrating along with him.
To a man, the teammates will say watching their man take the win is just as good as winning themselves.
Really?
Because when the tally is done at the end of the season, it's wins and podium finishes that are usually noted — not "set up teammate for a win."
Still, there's something satisfying about a teammate taking the win. Hey, if you can't cross the line first, at least your mate did.
OR WOMAN!!!
