With this winter being as cold, dark, and long as any in recent memory, the Promotions Staff at GamJams World Headquarters is proud to announce the pending start of a new series: the GamJams Computrainer TTT Throwdown Series. Here's the deal...
It's like the inaugural GamJams CompuTrainer TT Throwdown, but with more of everything:
- Twice as many opportunities to race: 2-week series. Throw down on weekends or on weeknights
- Twice as many locations: HPC (Herndon, VA), Conte's (Bethesda, MD), CycleLife (Washington, DC) and Kelley Acres Speed Shop (Middletown, MD)
- Twice as much purse: $1000 in cash
- We've even added a "T": This Throwdown is a TTT, giving your squad a chance to show its depth. Tell your teammates.
Based on the success of the inaugural Computrainer TT Throwdown p/b Sweat GUTR, GamJams is putting together an expanded version of the virtual race to allow individuals and teams another training opportunity and another chance to strut their stuff while we wait on this seemingly interminable winter to wear itself out. This event, however, will be slightly different from the last one in that there will be an opportunity for teams to work together to prove themselves ready for the coming racing season.
Prizes will be awarded to individuals in four categories, two each for men and women, as well as Men's and Women's team prizes for the squads with the lowest combined time for their top-3 riders.
If you raced the first one, you already know it was more fun than you expected. And if you didn't, well then you probably haven't raced at all yet this season. Isn't it killing you? Pencil in some time between 3/3 and 3/14. Registration opens on Pre-Reg.com within a day or two.
Strike your blow at your fellow racers before racing season even starts; your competitors' fear of you automatically adds 37.5 watts to your LT. It's a known fact.
you guys should seriously consider doing an official weigh in instead of "what's your weight?"
