"The Race for the Yellow Jersey" is an exceptionally well-done documentary from 1971, chronicling five competitive cyclists as they train for an assault on Tour Cycliste de L'Est, a demanding stage race in Quebec. One of the five is Bobby "the Baltimore Bullet" Phillips. The documentary spans about 45 minutes over 5 videos on YouTube and is rich with vintage race footage and rider interviews. Props to Kopps Cycles in Princeton, NJ for bringing the video to the web, and to Part 2, Part 3, Part 4 and Part 5.
