GamJams Racing Team Application

In 2010, GamJams will field a men's Cat 3 (only) racing team, based in the MABRA region*. The 2010 team will be comprised of 8-10 racers, each of whom loosely resembles one of the following types:

1. Talented, experienced racers who want to compete in a cohesive and unique team environment, but whose schedules don't permit the long hours necessary to race regularly in Pro/1/2 events.
2. Rockets who are launching themselves into the elite categories, and who would benefit from a core group of veteran teammates organized around a team result (see #1, above) as they race through Cat 3 and into the sport's upper echelon.

Do either of those sound like you? If so, fill out the application below. The questions will give you an idea of the team philosophy, but here's a quick summary of what we're up to:

• GamJams Racing aims to be most successful development team in the country. Our objective is to graduate racers into the nation's top elite and professional squads.
• We believe a squad with a focused composition is the best environment for creating team-based objectives, and for preparing racers for competing at the elite level.
• Racers are expected to remain on the team for a full year (unless they receive a forced upgrade).
• Once a racer upgrades to Category 2, he must leave GamJams Racing (like when the Menudo guys turn 16).
• The squad will be well-supported by sponsors, but we're not looking for racers who particularly care about that.

All applications will be kept strictly confidential. Call for applicants ends on October 16th, with the 2010 roster announced in early November.
